2026 Bellport Bay 5K Run/Walk
The Bellport Bay 5K Run/Walk is an annual community sports event held in the village of Bellport, New York. The event features an accurately measured course that takes participants through the local village area. The race takes place rain or shine, and registration is open to runners and walkers.

The 5 km course has a specific safety regulation regarding equipment; strollers are not permitted on the route. Participants who register at least three weeks before the event will have their names printed on their race bibs. Bib pickup is organized at the Bellport Bandshell, located at 55 Bellport Lane. While t-shirts are provided to participants, sizes are not guaranteed.
The Kids Fun Run is a free activity that does not require formal registration. Interested participants can meet at the corner of Hulse Street and Bellport Lane.
The event is organized to benefit the Bellport Village Program Fund (BVPF), a not-for-profit organization. Proceeds from registrations and sponsorships assist in various community improvement projects within the Village of Bellport, such as the maintenance and beautification of local parks, the marina, and recreational facilities. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three finishers in various age categories ranging from 12 and under to 80 and over.
