Bellport Bay 5K Run/Walk
The Bellport Bay 5K is an annual summer community race organized by the Bellport Village Program Fund (BVPF) and staged in the village of Bellport. The event includes a main measured 5K course through Bellport Bay and a separate kids Fun Run.

The event is based at Bandshell Park at the Main Dock in Bellport, with the Bellport Bandshell listed as the start/finish area. Parking is available near the Library or at Porters on the Lane. Race-day bib pickup and shirt pickup occur at the Bellport Bandshell; personalized race numbers are offered for registrations completed at least three weeks before the race. Strollers are not allowed on the course.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers, and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups: 12 & under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
All proceeds from race registrations and tax-deductible sponsorships, after race-related expenses, go to benefit the Bellport Village Program Fund, a not-for-profit organization that supports village recreational projects and maintenance.
