Bell Gardens 5K : event overview
The Bell Gardens 5K takes place at Veterans Park in Bell Gardens, California. The scheduled program includes two 5K events and a kids half mile run. Packet pickup is offered at Veterans Park before the event and includes a T-shirt and finisher medal.
The main 5K uses a two-loop layout on flat, wide public streets. The course route starts at Veterans Park on Perry Road, proceeds toward Loveland Street, shifts onto Suva Street, continues on Scout Avenue and Florence Place, then returns to Perry Road to begin the second loop. A water station is available at the start of the second loop, and additional water is provided after crossing the finish line. The road for the course will be completely closed to traffic during the event.
The kids half mile is an out-and-back course on Suva Street near Veterans Park and covers a short loop appropriate for younger participants. Event-day parking is free around the perimeter of Veterans Park and at the neighboring Suva Intermediate School, with a designated runner drop-off at Perry Road and Loveland Street.
