Santa Anita Derby Day 5K
The Santa Anita Derby Day 5K takes place on April 3, 2027 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California (285 W. Huntington Ave). The event includes a main 5K and two youth races on the racetrack.

- Kids 6-Furlong Race (ages 7–12)
- Kids Homestretch Dash (ages 6 and under)
The 5K course runs through the Los Angeles Arboretum and finishes on the Santa Anita Race Track. The kids races are held on the race track and are divided by age as listed above.
Event services and features listed by the organizer include a finisher medal, an official event shirt, and chip timing for participants. The post-event area includes a music and food expo, a Spring Carnival, and a complimentary beer for participants age 21 and older. Participants receive complimentary admission and parking to Derby Day horse races and an admission ticket to a future Santa Anita Park event valued at $20. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
