Beerfoot Beer Run
The Beerfoot Beer Run is a 5K fun run mapped as a 5k-ish route that starts and ends at Beerfoot Brewery on Seawall Blvd on Galveston Island. The event is part of Yaga’s Chili Quest, Beers & Cheers, which takes place January 15-16, 2027. Participants of all ages may run, walk, or jog the course.
Registration includes 5K entry and a public chili tasting ticket. The first 100 registrants receive an event t-shirt and a participation medal. Adults 21 and over who register are eligible for three complimentary beers as part of the registration package. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the run at Beerfoot Craft & Draft and includes a complimentary beer and happy hour specials. On event day there are packet pickup and warm-up activities, a post-run celebration, and later chili cook-off and beer festival activities in the Historic Strand District at 23rd Street and Strand Street.
Parking for the run is available on surrounding side streets and via paid parking along Seawall; parking for the chili tasting and beer fest is available in downtown paid street and lot locations.
