Beer Run - SanTan Gardens
This event is part of the Arizona Brewery Running Series and features an untimed, brewery-centered fun run that starts and ends at SanTan Gardens. The course covers a roughly 5k distance on neighborhood streets and nearby paths, and participants are expected to obey traffic laws and cross on green lights.
The run location is SanTan Gardens, 495 E Warner Rd Suite 101, Chandler, AZ 85225; this is not the downtown Chandler location. Roads remain open to traffic during the run. A water station is placed at the turnaround or half-way point, and small water bottles are available at check in.
Every participant receives a collector's pint glass or series swag item plus giveaways from series sponsors, and each finisher receives a token for one free beer. Photo identification is required at check in and all ages are welcome. Event merchandise includes event shirts available for purchase on site for $25 to $35, and preordered shirts may be picked up before or after the run.
The brewery offers guided tours on Sundays. Tours last about 75 minutes, include a welcome beer and samples of distilled products, are limited to 25 people, and have ticket prices ranging from $15 to $40. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
