Beer Garden Run 2027
The Beer Garden Run returns for its 14th annual edition in San Antonio, Texas. The event is hosted at the Tuscany wedding venue on Old Fredericksburg Road and combines running with a celebration of local Texas breweries. Participants can choose from several distances and participation formats:
- Half Marathon: A 13.1 mile course on paved roads.
- 10k: A standard 10 km run.
- 10k 2-Person Relay: A team-based version of the 10 km distance.
- 5k: A 5 km distance available for both runners and walkers.
- 1k Fun Run: A short distance for those looking to enjoy the event atmosphere.
- Virtual Options: Remote participation is available for the 5k, 10k, 10k relay, and Half Marathon.
The event includes a Best Costume contest and a Largest Team Contest. Post-race refreshments include local beers as well as whiskey and vodka cocktails. Awards are presented to the first through fourth place finishers in various age categories, ranging from 14 and under to 90+. Overall male, female, and masters winners are also recognized.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Stout House in Helotes, with a second opportunity on the morning of the event at the race site. The 50 percent registration discounts are available for participants aged 16 and younger or 70 and older. The event also supports the Hope Hits Harder Cancer Foundation.
