Miracle For Jackson 5k
The Miracle For Jackson 5k is a community event held at Lady Bird Johnson Park in San Antonio. This family-oriented gathering supports the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) in honor of Jackson, a young boy who received an intestinal transplant in 2025. The event aims to assist with transplant-related expenses and the ongoing resources required for his recovery.
Participants can choose between two primary participation options:
- MIRACLE FOR JACKSON 5k: A 5 km (3.1 miles) course located at the park.
- Virtual 5k: A remote option that allows participants to complete the 5 km distance independently between March 21 and April 6, 2026.
The event day includes various organized activities such as a DJ, face painting, and snack and hydration stations for participants. Registration is tiered, with a reduced entry fee available for participants between the ages of 4 and 16. On-site logistics include specialized areas for vendors and sponsors, alongside a pre-race packet pickup period.
