Beer City Half™ Alameda takes place on July 11, 2026 at Radium Runway in Alameda Point, Alameda, California. This edition adds a half marathon to the event program. The Beer City Festival is a post-event gathering with beer tasting from local and regional brewers. All runners receive a shirt, a Key to Beer City finisher's medal, a custom tasting glass and unlimited tasting at the post-run festival. Additional event offerings include the Beat the Beast Beer Mile, which requires drinking four 12-oz beers while running a mile and eliminates participants if a designated "Beast" catches them. The Beermazing Race is a scavenger-style challenge that asks participants to visit five brewers, drink a pint at each stop, and collect clues to the next taproom. A Shindig at Faction Brewing features music, food trucks, games, and a ticketed first beer. A Beer City Trolley runs throughout the afternoon to visit local brewers, with buses approximately every 45 minutes.
