Otterton Reindeer Run
The Otterton Reindeer Run is a festive cross-country event on 5 December 2026 that raises money for community projects in Otterton. Race HQ is at St Michael's Church, Otterton, with baggage left at the owner's risk inside the church and limited toilet and changing facilities; additional toilets are at Otterton Village Hall.
The courses are mainly off-road with some quiet country lane sections and can be muddy in December. The event offers refreshments and prize presentations at Otterton Village Hall, where finishers receive complimentary tea, coffee or mulled wine for adults, squash for juniors and a mince pie; extra food including bacon rolls is available to purchase.

- 3 km Festive Fun Run for families and younger runners
- 10 km Multi-terrain race (listed as 10.3 km), open to runners aged 16 and over
The races start outside St Michael's Church; marshals and water stations are positioned around the course and paramedics are on standby. The event is held under Association of Running Clubs rules and online entry constitutes acceptance of those rules and a declaration that participants compete on foot and at their own risk. There is no parking at Race HQ, limited on-road parking in the village, and entrants are asked not to use the Otterton Mill car park. Entry fees range from £7.50 to £18.00.
