Otterton Reindeer Run
The Otterton Reindeer Run takes place on 6 December 2025 in Otterton, starting at St Michael's Church (EX9 7HU). The event offers two distances:
- 3 km festive fun run
- 10 km multi-terrain route through the Otter Valley
The course is mainly off-road with some sections on quiet country lanes that are largely traffic free. Prizes will be awarded for best adult and junior fancy dress.
Race information
Race HQ is at St Michael's Church where on-day number collection and registration take place. Toilets are available in the church and there is a baggage area inside the building; this area is unsecured and items are left at the owner’s risk. Changing facilities are limited. After the run, refreshments and prize presentations are held at the village hall a short walk from the finish; complimentary teas, coffees or mulled wine will be provided for finishers and additional food and drinks will be available to purchase. Marshals will guide runners around the course and water stations will be provided at regular intervals. Two St John’s Ambulance paramedics will be present. There is no parking at Race HQ; limited on-road parking is available and parking is provided at Bicton Home Farm (EX9 7BY) with a path into Otterton. The event is held under Association of Running Clubs rules (Event Permit No. ARC/25/0748); main race minimum age is 16 and entrants compete at their own risk.
