Event
The Otterton Reindeer Run takes place on 6 December 2025 in Otterton, starting at St Michael's Church (EX9 7HU). It is a cross-country race and fun run that raises funds for community projects in the village. Prizes are awarded for the best adult and junior fancy dress.

The course is mainly off-road with some sections on quiet country lanes. The start is outside the church and the finish is a signposted area. Marshals will guide the route, water stations are provided at regular intervals, and paramedics will be on standby.
Logistics and rules
Race HQ is at St Michael's Church where on-the-day registration and number collection take place. A baggage area is available inside the church but is unsecured and items are left at the owner’s risk. Toilet facilities are limited at the church; additional toilets and post-race refreshments and prize presentations are at the village hall nearby. Complimentary hot drinks or mulled wine for adults, squash for juniors, and a mince pie for all finishers are provided; other refreshments such as bacon rolls are available to purchase.
There is no parking at Race HQ; limited on-road parking is available and dedicated parking is at Bicton Home Farm (EX9 7BY) with a path into Otterton. The event is held under Association of Running Clubs rules. Entrants must be amateur status; the minimum age for the main race is 16. Details of medical conditions should be written on the back of race numbers. Entry fees range from £7.50 to £18.00. If postponed runners will be enrolled on a rearranged date; if cancelled no refunds or deferrals to the following year will be offered.
