Beer & BBQ 5K Run/Walk
The Beer & BBQ 5K is a community run/walk held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The course is a paved out-and-back that starts at the Bridgeway Station entrance, includes a bridge crossing early on, and features smooth turns with a small climb.
Included with registration are a complimentary beer at the finish and access to the post-race barbecue and music. Water is available at the finish; there is no water on course. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal, a race bib, event-themed giveaways, a race sticker, complimentary race photos, and chip timing with live results.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each of 15 age group categories. The event counts toward season recognition in the Upstate Brew Series and is part of the Upstate Giving Series that supports local nonprofit organizations.
Practical details: packet pickup is at Bridgeway Station with no proxy pickups, restrooms are available in the start/finish area inside Bridgeway Station, there is no gear check, dogs and headphones are allowed on course, and the event enforces a one hour time limit. Registration opens October 7, 2025, closes June 1, 2026, and the entry fee is $19. Groups of five or more receive a $5 discount; entries are final and refunds are not offered.
