About the race
The BMW Performance Classic 2-Mile Run/Walk is the 27th annual event held at the BMW Performance Center in Greer, South Carolina. The event is part of the Greenville Track Club Corporate Shield and features a 2 mile run/walk course. Timing is by gun/horn start and finish times are recorded via the chip on each participant's bib.
Registration information and fees are set by category:
- Participant registration opens August 10, 2026 and closes August 29, 2026; participant fee is $20.00.
- Spectator registration opens August 10, 2026 and closes September 18, 2026; spectator registration is free.
- Paid on-site parking is available as an add-on with a fee of $7.50; off-site parking is provided at The Ultimate Driving Museum with a shuttle to the venue.
Because the event takes place in an area restricted to the public, all participants and spectators must register and sign a waiver. Spectators of any age must register, will receive a wristband at check-in, and spectator registration does not include refreshments. Participants must wear race bibs while on Performance Center property.
