Conestee Nature Preserve 8K Run/Walk
The Conestee Nature Preserve 8K Run/Walk is held on September 19, 2027 at Conestee Nature Preserve, 840 Mauldin Road, Greenville, South Carolina. The route is a roughly five-mile loop (about 8K) on soft, natural trails with some single-track sections and several wooden boardwalks over wetlands.
The course includes about 285 feet of elevation gain presented in small rises rather than one long climb. Participants run through shaded forest, cross boardwalks over quiet wetlands, and follow yellow arrows while on course. Parking and park admission are free at the pavilion area, and the start and finish are within sight of the pavilion.
Logistics note that packet pickup is available on race day at the pavilion and must be collected by the participant. There are no water stations on the course; water is provided at the finish. A drop bag area and on-site restrooms are available. Chip timing with live results is provided, and free professional photos are typically posted within 48 to 72 hours after the race.
Every finisher receives a custom finisher medal, a race tattoo, event-themed giveaways, and a race sticker. Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group medals for 1st through 3rd in multiple categories. The event donates to local nonprofits as part of the Upstate Giving Series. Dogs and headphones are allowed, and mobile race-day registration is available.
