Lake Conestee 8k Run/Walk - Lake Conestee Nature Park, Greenville, SC
The event is an 8k trail race held on September 20, 2026, at Lake Conestee Nature Park, 840 Mauldin Rd, Greenville, SC 29607. The course is described as a roughly 5-mile loop over soft natural trails and some single-track, with a few wooden boardwalks that cross rivers and flooded wetlands. The course has 285 feet of elevation gain and is marked with yellow arrows.
Race facilities are concentrated at the park pavilion. Parking and park admission are free and located adjacent to the pavilion. Packet pickup occurs on site at the pavilion and must be picked up by the participant. A drop bag area for personal items will be available at the pavilion. Start and finish locations are within sight of the pavilion. Restrooms with power and water are on site.
On-course aid is limited: there is no water on the course, but water will be available at the finish line. Headphones and dogs are allowed. The event enforces a 90 minute time limit. Race-day mobile registration is available.
Included with registration are a finisher medal, free professional race photos, a custom bib, event giveaways, a race sticker, chip timing with live results, and a post-race pancake offering. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to first through third in the listed age groups. Donations and race proceeds support the Upstate Running Club Youth Team.
