Lake Conestee 8k Run/Walk : Overview
The Lake Conestee 8k Run/Walk takes place on September 20, 2026 at Lake Conestee Nature Park, 840 Mauldin Rd, Greenville, SC 29607. The event is presented by the Upstate Race Series and Snyder Construction, with donations and race proceeds supporting the Upstate Running Club Youth Team. The course is described as a 8k (5-mile loop) on natural trails with about 285 feet of elevation gain. The route includes soft earth, some single-track sections, and several wooden boardwalks that cross rivers and flooded wetlands. Yellow arrows mark the course. Awards include top three overall trophies for male and female finishers and age group medals for multiple age categories.
Logistics and included items
Registration price listed is $29 ($15 for ages 1–17). Packet pickup is on site at the pavilion shelter from 7:00 am to 7:50 am on race day and must be picked up by the registered participant. Race-day mobile registration is available; paper registration is not. Registration covers park entry and includes a finisher medal, custom race bib, free professional photos, event giveaways, post-race pancakes, and chip timing with live results. Parking and park admission are free and available adjacent to the pavilion. There is no water on course; water will be available at the finish line. A drop-bag gear area and on-site restrooms are provided. Dogs are allowed on the course. The event has a 90-minute completion limit.
