The Drop - Norwich
The Drop - Norwich is an off-road navigation event scheduled for 11 January 2026 at Harriets's Cafe Tearooms, 38 London Street, Norwich NR2 1LD. The event is organised by The Drop UK / Organic Adventure Ltd and is open to entrants aged 18 and over. Entry options are priced; listed prices include £37.50 for the shortest option, £45.50 for the mid distance, and £52.50 for the longest option.
Format, rules and safety
Participants register, surrender electronic devices and receive a race number and an emergency bag. Competitors board a bus and are taken to an undisclosed drop-off point while blindfolded or using an approved alternative. From that point participants must find their own way back to the event centre. Distances are measured as the crow flies; actual route distance may be longer.

- 6 miles
- 10 miles
- 15 miles
Rules: no GPS use (devices must be sealed in the emergency bag), no unauthorised maps, no shortcuts, and breaking the emergency bag seal leads to disqualification. The 6-mile option is restricted to non-locals only. Optional live GPS trackers are available for safety at extra cost; trackers are accurate within about 5 metres, must be placed with a clear view of the sky, and must be returned or a £175 replacement fee applies.
