Santa Dash and Festive Fun Run
The Santa Dash and Festive Fun Run is a charity event held at Lingwood Village Hall. The event supports two charities, with half of the profits donated to their work. Participants can choose between two different distances:
- 5 km Santa Dash
- 2 km Family Festive Fun Run
The 5 km route takes place within the grounds of Lingwood Village Hall and follows surrounding trail footpaths. The minimum age for participants in this specific distance is 11 years. The 2 km run is contained entirely within the grounds of the Village Hall.
To maximize the proceeds donated to charity, the races are not timed. All participants receive a medal upon completion. Before the main events commence, the schedule includes a briefing, an aerobics warm-up, and a short fancy dress dash.
On-site facilities at the venue include the Hug-a-Mug cafe, which offers snacks, home-made cakes, and refreshments. Event entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred, though transfers to other runners are permitted until the designated deadline of December 9, 2026.
