Beat The Tide 10k
Beat The Tide is a 10k running event held along the shoreline of Worthing and Lancing beaches on 13th August 2026. The route runs along sandy shoreline, over shingle and rock pools, then up to the path above Widewater and back along the seafront.
This year the start is about 50 metres along from the usual point at Perch on the Parade. The listed location is Perch on the Parade, East Beach Studios, Worthing. Perch on the Parade will supply drinks and will run a two for one pizza offer.
An aid station with water is provided at 5k. Canicross is welcome. Entry fees are £23 for affiliated runners and £25 for unaffiliated runners. Organisers advise not to wear best trainers due to the mixture of sand, shingle and rock underfoot.
