Littlehampton 10K
The Littlehampton 10K is an established road running event that has taken place for over 21 years. The course is held on fully closed roads, providing a route that starts and finishes along the Littlehampton seafront. Participants travel along the beach promenade and through various local areas, including residential Littlehampton, Rustington, and Mewsbrook Park.
The route features several local landmarks, such as colourful beach huts, award-winning architecture, and the longest bench in the United Kingdom. The event attracts individuals and groups, including corporate teams and members of various running clubs. Alongside the main distance, there is also a mile-long option for families.
The event serves as a fundraiser for Chestnut Tree House, a charity providing hospice care and community support for children and young people with life-limiting conditions in Sussex and South East Hampshire. While the event supports this specific cause, participants have the option to fundraise for any charity of their choice.
Available distances:
- 10 km
- 1 mile (Family Mile)
The event is supported by local volunteers who assist with marshaling, baggage handling, and managing water stations at the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
