Course, facilities and logistics
The start and finish remain at Adur Recreation Ground. The route includes a loop of the recreation ground, runs alongside Shoreham Airport, turns right onto the Toll Bridge, follows the Downs Link to Upper Beeding, passes through the town and across a newly built bridge, goes behind Bramber Castle, then returns along the opposite riverside to the finish. Runners will be released in waves to reduce congestion. Terrain includes pathway and very light trail sections - Downs Link, riverside footpaths and town footpaths. The course is accurately measured with clear signage and will have water and toilets on course, fully stocked aid stations, marshals and traffic management. Finishers will be offered a complimentary drink or snack and there will be food and drink trucks and spectator seating. The official GPX will be updated once the new bridge is confirmed complete. Public transport notes indicate Shoreham-by-Sea train station is about a 10-15 minute walk to the recreation ground. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
