Event Information

The River Run Half Marathon takes place in Shoreham-by-Sea. The start and finish is at Adur Recreation Ground. It is described as a fast and flat course. The route follows a riverside path along the River Adur, passing Shoreham Airport, over a toll bridge, and along the Downs Link pathway to Upper Beeding. It then goes through a town, crosses a new bridge, passes behind historic Bramber Castle, and returns along the opposite riverbank.

Runners are grouped into waves to reduce congestion. The terrain includes pathways, very light trail, riverside footpaths, and town footpaths.
