Event Overview
The Beacon of Hope 5k is a run/walk event taking place on June 20, 2026. The 5 km course goes through Camp Hero and finishes at the historical Montauk Lighthouse in Montauk, New York.
Charitable Purpose
The event directly benefits two local women’s cancer organizations on Long Island’s East End: Lucia’s Angels and the Coalition for Women’s Cancers. Registration includes options for individual or team participation, with the ability to create a personal fundraising page.

There are two event formats:
- Beacon of Hope 5k (in-person)
- Virtual Beacon of Hope 5k
The listed early price is $32.50. The registration fee on the day of the race is $40. Participants who register after June 14th are not guaranteed to receive an event t-shirt.
Practical Information
Free digital race photos are provided by Endurance Sports Photography. Photos are searchable by bib number or name. Organizers request that participants wear their bib number clearly on the front of their torso for photo identification.
