Beach to Beer 5K & 10K
Beach to Beer takes place at Colonial Beach Town Hill and includes a scenic course along the Potomac. The event offers multiple distances and a non-timed 1 Mile Walk and supports BAMM. It is listed as the ninth annual running of the event.
Race features include chip timing, live-streamed results, and awards. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to the top three in age groups: Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, and each subsequent decade. The course is described as flat.

Races include on-site local craft beer from Colonial Beach Brewing and Ice House Brewery, an event shirt with a long sleeve upgrade available for an extra fee, and a Beach to Beer custom beer glass for all participants. Water stations are provided on course and at the finish, and a complimentary snack is available in the finish chute. Free parking and free downloadable photos are offered.
After the event there is live music until noon, a beer garden with non-alcohol options, an on-site food truck, and lawn games. Participants are invited to bring chairs or blankets. Strollers are permitted. The event is held rain or shine with no refunds or deferrals.
