Beach to Beer 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Walk
The Beach to Beer event takes place at the Colonial Beach Town Hill in Virginia. This annual occasion features multiple distances and supports the BAMM organization. The course follows a scenic route along the Potomac River and is characterized by a flat and fast terrain.
The event offers several participation options:
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk (Subject to a 1 hour time limit)
- 1 Mile Walk (Non-timed)
Participants in the 10K and 5K races receive chip-timing and live-streamed results. Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers and the top three in various age groups, ranging from 14 and under to those 20 and older in 10-year increments. Strollers are permitted on the course, and the event proceeds regardless of rain or shine.
Registered participants receive a high-quality tech shirt, with options available for men, women, and youth. Each entrant also receives a custom beer glass. The race infrastructure includes water stations along the course and at the finish line, where complimentary snacks are provided. Parking for the event is free, and participants can access downloadable photos after the race.
An after-party is held at the waterfront park featuring live music and a beer garden with local craft beer from Colonial Beach Brewing and Ice House Brewery.
