Event overview
The Beach to Beer 5K & 10K takes place on October 17, 2026 in Colonial Beach, VA at Colonial Beach Town Hill (427 Washington Ave). It is presented as the 9th annual Colonial Beach To Beer event and supports BAMM. The event offers these distances:

Awards are given for the 5K and 10K: top three overall and top three in age groups (Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, and each decade). The course is described as flat.
Included services and on-site features
Chip timing and live-streamed results are provided. All participants receive a custom Beach to Beer beer glass and a quality event shirt, with a paid upgrade available for a long sleeve option and different cuts for youth, women, and men. Water stations are located on course and at the finish area. Complimentary snacks are available at the finish chute. Free parking and free downloadable photos are listed. Colonial Beach Brewing and Ice House Brewery will be onsite with craft beer options; non-alcohol options are also available. The event includes live music, a beer garden, an on-site food truck, lawn games, and permits strollers. The race is held rain or shine; refunds and deferrals are not offered.
