Event Overview
The Beach Girl Triathlon is a multi-sport event held in Galveston, Texas. It takes place at the Seaside Resort, a Holiday Inn property on the beach.
Disciplines and Distances
The main Super Sprint triathlon involves a 200m swim in a pool, an 8-mile bike ride, and a 2-mile run on the beach. Several event categories are offered based on the main distance:

- Beach Girl Super Sprint - Aquabike (200m swim / 8 mi bike)
- Beach Girl Super Sprint - Triathlon, Ladies Relay
Event Details
The event is USA Triathlon sanctioned, requiring all athletes to have a valid membership. Participants receive a shirt and a medal. A post-race party includes beverages, music, and food. The venue has a beach, a pool, and games.
Packet pickup is scheduled for two days prior in a local store and on-site at the host hotel.
Awards are given to the overall top female, overall top masters female, and the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups range from 14 & under to 80 & over. Athena categories (165 lbs & over) for ages 39 & under and 40 & over also receive awards.
