About the race
The Baylor Scott & White College Station Marathon + Half Marathon takes place on December 13, 2026 in College Station, Texas, with race activities centered at 1015 Colgate Drive. The event offers multiple distance options: - Marathon: 26.2 miles - Half Marathon: 13.1 miles - Marathon relay: 4- or 8-person teams The courses are described as fairly flat and fast with shaded neighborhoods, several golf courses, and crowd support. The marathon course includes rolling hills between miles 7 and 13.
The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon qualifying course. Aid stations are provided every 1.5 miles and offer water and Gatorade. The marathon has a time limit of six and a half hours; the course closes on a rolling schedule based on a 15:00 per mile pace for both distances.
The half marathon converges with the full marathon around mile 8. Relay legs are roughly 6.5 miles per runner on a 4-person team and about 3.2 miles per runner on an 8-person team; individual leg distances may vary slightly. Relay registration opens in May. Age requirements are 14 years for the marathon and 12 years for the half marathon and team relay. Race packet pick up and the expo are held Saturday, December 12, with packets available only at pick up; packets will not be mailed and there is no race day packet pick up.
All participants receive a short sleeve softstyle shirt. Marathon and half finishers receive a finisher jacket and a custom finisher medal; registered relay runners receive a shirt and race day relay finishers receive a medal. A post race party with food and beer follows the finish.
Selling or transferring bibs is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Registration fees are non refundable; one time deferral and distance transfers are permitted under stated deadlines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
