Baylor Scott & White College Station Marathon + Half Marathon : 13 December 2026
The event on 13 December 2026 takes place in College Station, Texas, with courses running through College Station, Bryan, and the Texas A&M campus. It offers full, half, and relay options.
Distances:
- 26.2 miles Marathon
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- Marathon relay for 4- or 8-person teams
The courses are described as fairly flat and fast, passing through shady neighborhoods and several golf courses. The marathon route includes rolling hills between miles 7 and 13 but is otherwise mostly flat. The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon qualifying race.
Aid stations are provided every 1.5 miles and supply both water and Gatorade. The marathon has a six and a half hour time limit, with the course operating on a rolling closure based on a 15:00 per mile pace. The half marathon route converges with the full marathon around mile 8.
Dogs, bicycles, and strollers are not allowed on the course. All registered participants receive a short sleeve softstyle participant shirt. Marathon and half marathon finishers receive a finisher's jacket and a custom finisher's medal. Registered relay runners receive a softstyle shirt and a finisher's medal if they run on race day. A post-race party with food and beer follows the finish area; relay participants may attend.
Packet pick up and an expo with local vendors are scheduled for Saturday, 12 December, from 9:00 to 17:00; there is no race day packet pick up. Someone else may pick up a packet with a screenshot of the runner's photo ID.
Relay registration opens in May. A VIP package is available that adds perks at packet pick up, VIP swag, and valet parking; the extra fee for VIP entry is donated to event charities. Age requirements: 14 years for the marathon, 12 years for the half marathon and relay. Selling or transferring bibs is not permitted. Distance transfers and one-time deferrals are allowed until November 15 when registration rules permit. Registration fees are non-refundable.
