Event overview
The Active Texan Tinsel Trot is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Lake Walk in Bryan, Texas (4107 Lake Atlas Drive, Bryan, TX 77807). The event includes three race distances and is organized around the Lake Walk Pavilion and the adjacent Green. The 5K and 10K are professionally chip-timed. All participants receive a finisher medal; 5K and 10K entrants also receive an official race t-shirt and sponsor swag. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K divisions.

The event area will include music, food trucks, hot chocolate, festive games, selfie stations, and a post-race celebration on the Green. Organizers recommend headlamps for 10K runners because portions of the course occur after dark; the route is described as being lit by streetlights.
