The Active Texan Tinsel Trot
The Active Texan Tinsel Trot is an evening running event on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at Lake Walk Pavilion in Bryan, Texas (4107 Lake Atlas Drive, 77807). The program includes a 10K, a 5K, and a 1 mile fun run held at the same venue.

The 5K and 10K are chip timed. Each participant in the listed races will receive a finisher medal. The 1 mile fun run finishers will receive T-shirts and finisher medals. Awards will be given to the first, second, and third overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K divisions.
Lighting and safety details note that glow sticks will be provided for participants and placed on the race course. Some 5K participants may finish after dark. The 10K requires participants to have a headlamp or another personal light at the start because the finish will be after dark; the course is reported to be well lit by street lights for the majority of its length. The fun run is expected to finish before dark.
Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes December 5, 2026. Stated registration fees are $50.00 for the 10K, $35.00 for the 5K, and $15.00 for the 1 mile fun run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
