Bay to Breakers
Bay to Breakers is a city road running event in San Francisco held since 1912. The event offers multiple distance options and includes on-course support and post-race amenities. The route passes through city neighborhoods and draws large crowds and costumed participants.
Included for standard entrants are a finisher's medal, an event t-shirt, a finish-line festival, water and aid stations, and chip-timed results. A VIP add-on is available for an additional fee and includes access to a VIP area, pre-race and post-race meals and beverages, and gear check. The VIP add-on fee listed is $109.
Race weekend programming includes related activities in the days immediately before the main event. Examples listed for the same weekend include a shake out run at Sports Basement in Stonestown and a Runners Night at Oracle Park. The event page notes that all registration fees are non-refundable and that organizers may cancel events for emergency conditions without providing refunds.
