Historic San Francisco Fun Run
Bay to Breakers is an established running event in San Francisco with a history dating back to 1912. The race takes place on the streets of the city and is known for its large crowds and participants who often take part in various costumes. The event is USATF sanctioned and includes several participation options:
- 12K distance
- 15K Breakers Bonus
- Centipede racing
- Team entries
Participants receive an event t-shirt and a finisher's medal upon completing the course. The event features chip-timed results and water or aid stations located along the route. A finish line festival is held after the race for participants to attend.
Additional upgrades are available through a VIP package, which includes access to a dedicated VIP area, pre-race and post-race meals, beverages, and gear check services. The weekend also features a race expo and packet pickup. Leading up to the main event, associated activities often include a shake-out run and a designated runners' night at Oracle Park.
