The Bay Ridge Half Marathon
The Bay Ridge Half Marathon takes place in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, on October 3, 2026. The event uses the Shore Road Promenade and finishes at the American Veterans Memorial Pier at 6901 Shore Road, Brooklyn, NY 11209.
The course is described as flat and fast and consists of three 4.36 mile loops of the Shore Road Promenade, totaling a half marathon. The route runs along the waterfront and features views of the Verrazano Bridge, Lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. The course is spectator friendly and course support will remain open for three hours.
Aid and logistics are provided on race day. Fluid stations are placed roughly every mile. Bib pickup is held exclusively on race day from 6:30 until 7:30; baggage check is located adjacent to bib pickup. The finish area at American Veterans Memorial Pier includes finisher medals and finish-line refreshments such as bagels, chips, cookies and water. Age-group awards are presented after results are posted.
