Battle of Salado Creek
Battle of Salado Creek takes place on September 12, 2026 at LBJ Park San Antonio, 10700 Nacogdoches Road. It is Race 2 of 4 in the Alamo Beer Series Challenge. The course runs along the greenway at Lady Bird Johnson Park and the event includes a finisher party held outdoors in the evening.

Entry fees are listed per distance: 13.1 $99, 10 mile $60, 5 mile $50, 5k $45, 0.05k $45. Late entry surcharges apply in the final registration windows.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet San Antonio Culebra Commons, 7010 W Loop 1604 N unit 103, on Friday September 11 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Pickup is also available at the race location on race day from 4:30 pm.
All finishers receive a medal. Awards are given 1st through 4th for all distances. Age group categories run from 14 and under through 90 and older. First overall awards for male female masters and super masters are based on gun time. Age group awards use chip time because starts are in waves.
The event notes no refunds. Entry transfers incur a fee of $20 or $30 if requested the day before; transfers are not allowed after race day. Event location may be subject to change and course maps are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
