Battle of Salado Creek - September 12, 2026
Battle of Salado Creek is Race 2 of the Alamo Beer Series Challenge, held at Lady Bird Johnson Park on Nacogdoches Road in San Antonio, Texas on September 12, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and includes post-race food and beer.

- 10 mile
- 5 mile
- 5k
- 0.05k fun run and a 5k walk-only option
Standard entry fees are listed per distance, with a published price increase 15 days before the race and an additional increase on race day. Runners age 16 and younger receive a 50% discount; participants aged 70 and older may also receive a 50% discount. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations made within one week of the race.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before and on race day at the race start location. Virtual runners can register and complete their distance off-site; a packet mailing option is available for an additional charge. Timing uses chip timing and age-group awards are based on chip time; overall and masters awards are also presented. Walkers should check in with timing staff to be recorded in the walking category.
