About the race
The Battle of Salado Creek is Race 2 of the 2027 Alamo Beer Series Challenge, scheduled for September 18, 2027 at Lady Bird Johnson Park on Nacogdoches Road in San Antonio, TX. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and includes multiple race distances.

Packet pickup is planned for Friday, September 17 (time TBD) and on Saturday, September 18 at the race start location. Virtual runners may complete their distance on their own; mailed packets are available for an additional fee (listed at about $12 per packet).
Standard entry fees noted in event materials include: 13.1 mile $99, 10 mile $60, 5 mile $50, 5k $45. Prices increase 15 days before the event and again on race day; shirt sizes ordered within one week of the race are not guaranteed for same‑day pickup.
The event states no refunds. Transfer or change fees apply: $20 for transfers two days before the race and $30 the day before; no transfers after race day. Age discounts apply: participants 16 and younger receive 50% off, and a 50% discount is also offered for participants aged 70 and older.
