Battle of Hillotes Half Marathon
The Battle of Hillotes takes place on October 10, 2026 in Old Town Helotes at 14391 Old Bandera Rd, Helotes, TX. It is the third race in the four‑race Alamo Beer Series Challenge and is held on the outskirts of northern San Antonio near the Texas Hill Country.

The half marathon course is USATF certified. The route moves from lower terrain toward rolling hills, with one notable ascent highlighted as part of the hill training focus. A post-race celebration in Old Town Helotes follows the event.
All finishers receive a medal and competitors who finish all four series races receive an additional series medal. 5k and 10k awards include first through fourth place. Age group divisions run from 14 and under through 90 plus. First overall male and female and first overall masters and super masters are decided by gun time. All age group awards are based on chip time because of wave starts.
Entry fees are listed by distance and include scheduled surcharges for late registration. The event policy states no refunds. Transfers incur a fee and are limited by timing rules. Packet pickup is available at Alamo Beer Company, 202 Lamar St, San Antonio, with a designated pickup window the day before and morning pickup at the race location.
