Battle of Hillotes Half Marathon
The Battle of Hillotes takes place on October 10, 2026 in Old Town Helotes, on the outskirts of northern San Antonio near the Texas Hill Country. It is Race 3 of 4 in the Alamo Beer Series Challenge. The half marathon course is USATF certified.
The route moves from gentler rolling elevation into one prominent hill segment near the middle of the course. Course maps are provided for the half marathon, 10k, and 5k.

The event is presented as an opportunity to practice race day procedures and equipment checks, including bib placement and racing chip use. Organizers note that participants can learn check in locations and proper chip placement on site.
Entry fees are listed per event: Half Marathon $99, 10k $55, 5k $45, and .05k $45. Late entry fees apply in the final registration windows, with additional increases before and on race day.
All finishers receive a medal. Participants who complete all four series races receive an additional series medal. Awards for 5k and 10k place first through fourth are offered. Age group categories run from 14 and under through 90 plus. Overall awards for first, masters, and super masters are based on gun time; age group awards use chip time because of wave starts.
