Battle of Hillotes Half Marathon
The Battle of Hillotes is scheduled for October 10, 2026 in Old Town Helotes, on the outskirts of San Antonio near the start of the Texas Hill Country. It is race 3 of 4 in the Alamo Beer Series. The event offers multiple distances and a USATF certified half marathon course.

The event is described as a hill-focused course intended to help runners acclimate to inclines and to test race-day procedures such as bib and timing chip placement. Packet pickup is available at Alamo Beer Company the Friday before the race and also at the race location on race day. Virtual entries are offered, with an optional mailed packet for an additional fee.
All finishers receive a medal; series finishers who complete all four races receive an additional medal. 5k and 10k awards are given 1st through 4th; age group awards cover standard age bands from 14 and under up to 90+. First overall and masters awards are based on gun time; age group awards use chip time. The organizer states there are no refunds and that late registration fees increase in the days before the event. Event location may be subject to change.
