Battle of Hillotes Half Marathon - October 10, 2026
The Battle of Hillotes is a multi-distance road race held in Old Town Helotes on the northern edge of San Antonio near the Texas Hill Country. The course includes rising terrain and at least one significant hill designed to provide hill training and a chance to test gear and pacing before target races.

- Half Marathon (USATF certified)
- 10k
- 5k
- .05k
All finishers receive a medal. Participants who complete all four races in the Alamo Beer Series Challenge receive an additional series medal. Awards for 5k and 10k list places 1st through 4th. Age-group categories start at 14 and under and continue in standard bands through 90 plus. First overall (male and female), first overall masters, and first overall super masters are determined by gun time. All age-group awards use chip time because starts are organized in waves.
Packet pickup is available at Alamo Beer Company (inside Beer Hall) in San Antonio, with additional pickup at the race location on event morning. Entry fees are listed per distance, with incremental increases as the event approaches and a higher fee for registrations on race day. No refunds are offered. Entry transfers incur fees ($20 normally, $30 the day before) and are not permitted after race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
