Battle Creek Patriot Run : October 11, 2026
The Battle Creek Patriot Run is the fifth annual running event held at the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base in Battle Creek, Michigan. The event is open to the public, family friendly, and includes on-site and virtual participation options. Proceeds support the 110th Wing Family Readiness Office to assist struggling military families during the holiday season.
Distances and event formats include:
- 5K in-person run/walk and virtual option
- 5K handcycle and wheelchair category
- 10K in-person run and virtual option
Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes August 31, 2026. Early registration fees apply; fees increase after August 31 and on race day. Virtual entries include mailed shirts and medals and may be completed any time during October; virtual participants may submit results but are not eligible for awards. Families and groups registering three or more together receive a per person discount.
All participants receive a finishers medal and a t-shirt guaranteed for registrations through September 27, 2026. Races are professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and results will be posted live during the event. Entrants should use the smaller entrance east of the main gate; vehicles are subject to search when entering the active military installation. Marijuana is not allowed on the base.
