Glory Days 5K Community Run
The Glory Days 5K Community Run is an annual cross-country race held in Portage, Michigan. This event takes place on a professional cross-country course located at 7145 Moorsbridge Rd, behind Portage West Middle School. The course is the same one used by thousands of high school and middle school student athletes, providing participants the opportunity to run on a path frequented by competitive runners.
The event is open to the general public, including community members, spectators, and coaches accompanying student athletes. Participants can choose between two registration options:
- 5 km pre-registered by the event deadline.
- 5 km onsite registration on the day of the race.
Participants who pre-register by the designated deadline receive a short-sleeve race t-shirt. For those who register onsite on the morning of the event, the availability of t-shirts and specific sizes is not guaranteed. Packet pickup and onsite registration are organized on-site behind the middle school. Recognition is provided for performance, as the top 50 runners to cross the finish line receive a medal.
