Basingstoke Summer Running Festival Race 1
The Basingstoke Summer Running Festival is a two-race summer series held at War Memorial Park, Crossborough Hill, Basingstoke RG21 4AG. The series comprises two separate race evenings in 2026: Race 1 on 13 August and Race 2 on 10 September.
Each event follows the same format: a Junior 1 mile Dash, then adult races of 5km and 10km. Entries are sold per race, and combined tickets covering both Race 1 and Race 2 are also available. Ticket types include single-event junior entries, single-event adult 5km and 10km entries, and combined entries for both events. Published ticket prices range from approximately £9.99 for a junior dash up to about £44.08 for combined adult entries.
Event procedures note that bibs must be worn for access to each race and that participants are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated on the day. The series is presented as evening runs intended to take place outdoors in summer conditions.
