Basingstoke Summer Running Festival : Race 1
The Basingstoke Summer Running Festival is a two-race summer series held at War Memorial Park, Crossborough Hill, Basingstoke RG21 4AG. Each event takes place on a separate summer evening and follows the same race format intended to bring the local running community together outdoors.
Races at each event include:
- Junior 1 mile Dash
- 5km
- 10km
Race 1 is titled "Sunshine Run" and is scheduled for 13 August. Race 2 is titled "Festival Run" and is scheduled for 10 September. Each race requires a separate entry; there are single-race tickets and combined-entry options for both dates. Participants collect racing bibs on the day and must wear a bib to access the race. Ticket holders are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start; late arrivals cannot be accommodated. Participants who complete both races receive a prize.
