Basingstoke Summer Running Festival Race 2
The Basingstoke Summer Running Festival is a two-race summer series held at War Memorial Park, Crossborough Hill, Basingstoke RG21 4AG. Each event takes place on a summer evening and is run as a separate race with its own entry.
Each event begins with a junior one mile Dash and is followed by adult races for ages 15 and over. Distances offered at each event include:
- 1 mile Junior Dash
- 5 km adult race (15+)
- 10 km adult race (15+)
Race 1 is scheduled for 13 August and is named Sunshine Run. Race 2 is scheduled for 10 September and is named Festival Run. Entries are available as single-race tickets or combined entries covering both Race 1 and Race 2. Participants who complete both races receive an exclusive prize.
Bibs are collected on the day and all athletes must wear a racing bib to access the race. The event notes that late arrivals cannot be accommodated and that attendees are responsible for arriving in good time before their race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
