Event Details

The Barrington 5K + Fun Runs takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026. It features three events: a 5K Run/Walk, a Fun Run (1 mile), and a Kids Fun Run (50 yard dash). The Kids Fun Run offers a choice between the 50-yard dash and an untimed one-mile option.

Location and Registration

The event is located at Barrington Christian Academy, 9 Old County Rd, Barrington, RI. Bib pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on race morning from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM. Race day registration is available, but payment is online via credit card only; cash is not accepted.

Participation Details

The 5K event has a $100 cash prize for the top male and female finisher. T-shirts are provided for every 5K participant who registers by September 12, 2026. Medals are given to every Fun Run participant, and to Kids Fun Run participants who are pre-registered by September 12, 2026. The Fun Run and Kids Fun Run are open to participants aged 13 and under.

The 5K registration fee is $34, increasing after October 1, 2026. The one-mile Fun Run fee is $15, and the Kids Fun Run fee is $10. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
