Barrington 5K Run Festival
The Barrington 5K Run Festival is the fifth annual community 5K held in Barrington, Rhode Island on October 3, 2026. The event is presented under a new name while continuing the established race format through local streets and fields.
The main race distance is 5K. Cash prizes of $100 are awarded to the top male and top female finishers. Commemorative race T-shirts are provided to 5K participants who register by September 12, 2026. The published registration fee is $34. Registration opens February 1, 2026 and closes October 1, 2026. Race day registration will be available but no cash will be accepted; all registrations must be completed online using a credit card.
A community Fall Festival follows the race and includes seasonal activities and food. Bib pickup takes place at Barrington Christian Academy, 9 Old County Rd, Barrington, RI 02806, with a scheduled pick up the day before the race and a morning pickup on race day.
