The Great Mud Escape
The Great Mud Escape is an obstacle-course fundraiser held on September 19, 2026 at 43 Kinicutt Ave, Warren, RI. The event centers on a 1 mile obstacle course that includes two large mud pits, a brain teaser element, and other mud-based obstacles.
The event offers on-site beverages and food vendors, shaved-ice service, music by a DJ, and giveaways including a commemorative medal for child and teen participants and family/adult SunBum sunscreen. A family "Backyard Bash" party area is included with registration and features a bubble and play zone, games, crafts, and other family activities.
Three participant categories are listed: ages 0–4 (free entry with waiver), ages 5–12, and ages 13–100+. Children age 0–12 must take part with someone aged 13 or older. Team registrants are advised to select the same corral during registration; corral selection is a preference and not guaranteed.
Registration opens May 14, 2026. Early-bird and tiered pricing apply: child (age 5–12) early-bird fee $20, later fees increase up to race-day pricing; adult (age 13–100+) early-bird fee $30 with higher fees later. A four-person family Early Bird Muddy Pack is offered for $110 when received by August 31. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Thrive Outside.
