Barrelman Niagara Falls
Barrelman Niagara Falls takes place in Welland, ON, at the Welland International Flatwater Centre. The event is a point-to-point triathlon that begins with a single-loop swim in calm water, with athletes running up the grandstands into the transition area.
The Half bike course uses two loops along the well-paved Niagara Parkway, with closed-road sections totaling nearly 64 km; the Half distance bike distance is 90 km. The Olympic bike course includes 25 km of closed roads. The run course is relatively flat with a couple of more demanding hills.
