Hangover Hustle 5K & Miniest Mini Marathon

The Hangover Hustle is a New Year’s Day running event on January 1, 2026, held at 423 Derby Rd, Crystal Beach, Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. The event grew from an informal local tradition and is presented as the second annual organized edition. The day includes a shirt, finishers prizes, a free Caesar, South Coast chicken wings, and live music by the Feverish Lemons.

The 500 m race starts in front of South Coast Cookhouse at the corner of Erie and Derby, goes north around Queen Circle, and returns to South Coast; the distance is approximately 500 m. The 5 km follows the Crystal Beach 5K certified course and also starts in front of South Coast Cookhouse. Runners should note the event is informal: the course is open, there are no official individual timing systems, and only a stopwatch time is recorded for first place finishers.
