About the race
Barrel Oak 3k & 6k is a cross-country running event at Barrel Oak Winery in Delaplane, Virginia. The course winds through vineyard grounds with gravel sections and rolling hills, and the 6k is two laps of the 3k route. Walkers and leashed pets are welcome.
Runners receive a glass of wine, a finisher’s medal, a technical shirt, and chip timing, with proceeds benefiting the Semper Fi and America’s Fund. Registration is $30 for the 3k and $40 for the 6k (prices rise on race morning). A virtual option is available, and live results appear on Athlinks, with post-race awards in age groups.
