Ballymena Belles Ladies 5 Mile Race
The Ballymena Belles Ladies 5 Mile Race is a women-only running event scheduled for Tuesday, 14 April 2026. The race starts at 7:00 PM. It begins in Galgorm Industrial Park, Ballymena, and finishes at Galgorm Community Centre.
The route proceeds from the industrial park into Galgorm village, then along the main Galgorm Road towards Ahoghill. After a gradual incline, the course follows quieter country roads back to the village. The final mile is on a tarmac path around the Wright Bus site. The first four miles are on public roads.
Participants must be aged 16 or older on the event date. Running with earphones, dogs, or prams is not permitted for safety reasons.
Entry fees are £20 for UK Athletics members and £22.50 for non-members. Online entries close on 5 April 2026. There will be no refunds or deferrals, but transfers or name changes can be facilitated online until 6 April 2026.
Registration takes place at Galgorm Community Centre from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM on race day. Early pack collection is available at Ballymena Bowling Club on Saturday, 11 April, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Prizes include cash awards for the top three finishers (£100, £70, £50) and age category prizes of £25. A team shield is awarded to the club with the lowest cumulative top position from four registered members. Post-race refreshments are provided at the community centre.
