Baden Running Races 2026 takes place in Baden, Ontario at the Wilmot Recreation Complex on Sunday, May 24, 2026. The event features road and trail races in Wilmot Township and continues an annual tradition held in the area for several decades. The event page shows 31 registered participants and a fundraising page listing the Interfaith Counselling Centre with $27.80 raised toward a $2,500 goal.
Races and course
- 5 km - the Neil Dunford Memorial; part road and part Schmidt Woods trail; the 5k is two loops and is a timed event.
- 2.5 km - a single loop; the course is described as very flat with the first 1.75 km on trail and the last 0.75 km on road; a water station is located at the finish.
- Baden Back-2-Back (7.5 km) - an individual combined event that consists of the 5k followed by the 2.5k with a gap between races.
- 200 m for kids - untimed fun run that includes a finisher medal.
- Future Runner (stroller occupant) - free for stroller passengers on the 2.5k; must be registered and accompanied by a different registered participant.
Registration and other information
Registration fees vary by registration period and spots remain limited (369 shown). Entry fees are non-refundable; participant waivers outline deferral and transfer options. T-shirts are available for an additional cost while supplies last. Kit pickup is available the day before at Runners' Choice Waterloo and on race day.
