Stratford 5K Run/Walk : event details
The Stratford 5K Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in Stratford, Ontario, with the start and finish in Upper Queens Park. The event is the 4th annual edition and supports The Local Community Food Centre; 100% of proceeds go to that organization. The road route passes Victoria Lake and the Stratford Festival theatres and will be chip timed. The event welcomes runners, walkers, and strollers and includes a dedicated kids race with medals and treats.

Registration, fundraising and awards
Early-bird pricing ends July 14, 2025; online registration closes September 26, 2025; no refunds after August 31, 2025; last day to transfer entries is September 22, 2025. Packet pick-up is available the day before at 612 Erie Street and on race day at Upper Queens Park. Race-day registration is offered based on availability; a stated race-day fee applies. Full refunds are available if requested by August 31, 2025, minus processing fees.
There is a fundraising challenge with reward tiers and prizing for fundraisers who raise $250 or more. Fundraising tiers listed are: $250–$499.99, $500–$999.99, $1,000–$1,999.99, and $2,000–$4,999.99. Team entries are allowed; a team must have at least three participants and the three fastest times determine team results. Individual awards are planned for 1st–3rd male and female and for age categories including Under 17, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
