About the race
The Willibald Pasture Dash is a cross country style race held at Willibald Farm Distillery & Brewery in Ayr, Ontario on September 27, 2026. This is the fifth annual running of the pasture dash and it uses a 2.5 km looped course laid out on farm pasture.
Racers choose between the following distances:
- 5 km: two loops of the 2.5 km course
- 10 km: four loops of the 2.5 km course
All participants receive a curated collection of goods, which includes a specially brewed beer produced for the race; the beer is available only to participants aged 19 years or older. Official timing and results are provided by Enfield Timing. Prizes are awarded to the fastest three finishers in each field. Food and drink are available after finishing.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the rare Charitable Research Reserve, a community-based land trust and environmental institute that protects over 1,200 acres across eight properties in Waterloo Region and Wellington County. The race is organized in collaboration with Run for Life and Willibald Farm Distillery & Brewery.
