The Davis Labor Day Run is scheduled for Monday, September 7, 2026, at Central Park, corner of 3rd and C Streets, Davis, CA 95616. The event offers the following distances:
- 1 Mile
- 5K
- 10K
- Kids 1/4 Mile Run
- Virtual Division
Parking is available throughout downtown Davis; there is no hourly parking enforcement on the holiday. Course maps for the 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K are provided by the organizer. The event lists Cancer Champions as an ongoing charitable partner.
Registration, awards, and logistics
Entry includes a short-sleeved race t-shirt (cotton/polyester blend), a finisher medal, eligibility for awards, and post-race refreshments; the Kids Fun Run is not timed and has no awards. All registration is handled online, with entry fees varying by date of entry, distance, and age; youth pricing is available. Cash is accepted on race day only. Packet pick-up is at Central Park on race day, beginning at 6:30 a.m.
Overall awards are given to the top three finishers per gender in the 5K, 10K, and One Mile (overall placement is based on gun time). Age group awards are determined by net (elapsed) time; age group ranges are specified for each distance, including categories up to 90+ for the 5K. Special divisions are available for the 5K and 10K (one selection per participant) with additional awards for the top three in each division. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable, with a transfer window and procedures defined by the organizer. Volunteer and race-voucher programs are offered, and fundraising groups must meet a minimum size to participate in the organizer’s fundraising program.
