California Brewers Festival - Presented by Point West Rotary
The California Brewers Festival takes place at Discovery Park on September 12, 2026 and combines beverage sampling, food, and community-focused programming in Sacramento. The event brings together brewers, vendors, and attendees for tasting of craft beer alongside wine, cider, sake, seltzers, kombucha and other beverage styles. Proceeds support local charities.
The festival experience includes food trucks and a Local Wares Marketplace, games and a Fun Zone, live art and entertainment, and a range of interactive experiences. Organized activities listed for the day include the Beer Relay and the California Brewers Cup. The event highlights local vendors and community participation throughout the park.
Founded in 1994 in Old Sacramento, the festival has moved through several downtown locations and established a longtime presence at Discovery Park. It is hosted by the Point West Rotary Club Foundation. Since its founding, the festival has raised more than $1.95 million for local charities, and the organizers state that 100% of proceeds from the event benefit local Sacramento children’s charities.
