California Brewers Festival - Presented by Point West Rotary
The California Brewers Festival takes place at Discovery Park on September 12, 2026. The event brings together Northern California craft beverage producers and local vendors for a day of tasting, food service, entertainment, and community-focused activities. It is hosted by the Point West Rotary Club Foundation and directs its proceeds to local charities.
Guests can sample a range of beverages including craft beer, wine, cider, sake, seltzers, and kombucha. The festival program includes food trucks, a local wares marketplace, games and activities in a Fun Zone, live art and entertainment, interactive experiences, the Beer Relay, and the California Brewers Cup.
Since its founding in 1994, the festival has moved through multiple downtown locations and developed a long association with Discovery Park. Over the years it has expanded its attendance and community participation; VIP tickets have sold out in recent years. The event reports that, since its founding, it has raised more than $1.95 million for local charities, and 100 percent of proceeds from the festival benefit local Sacramento children’s charities.
