Back Roads Bound - White Lake, Michigan
Back Roads Bound offers a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and a kids 1/2 mile run/walk on Saturday, August 8, 2026. The event is based at Hawley Park in White Lake, MI, with all races starting and finishing at the park.

Each race follows an out-and-back route that runs from Hawley Park down Porter Road and onto the back roads of White Lake before returning to the park. The course is marked with volunteers, cones and arrows and will be monitored by WLPD. The course remains open to traffic, so participants should be aware of other road users.
There will be four aid stations along the course. Aid stations provide water and some locations provide Gatorade; the 5K reaches the first aid station twice and the Half Marathon passes aid stations multiple times. All finishers in the half marathon, 10K and 5K receive a custom race shirt and a finisher medal; the kids run receives a finisher medal. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers in each race and to the top three in each age group, with results and awards available at the results table after the event. Parking, bathrooms, registration and packet pick-up are located near the start area. Race registration supports local community and athletic groups.
