Back endish at Brighouse
The event takes place along the Calder & Hebble navigation canal near Brookfoot Footbridge in Brighouse. The route runs on canal towpath and is an out and back course that passes through green waterside surroundings. The course is described as not overly challenging.
Multiple race distances are offered:
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- 20 Miles
- Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
There is a 6.5 hour cut off for the event. Feed stations and water points are provided on the course, normally around every three miles, and the event operates a cup free approach so participants should use a reusable cup or bottle. Marshals will be positioned along the route and some road crossings may be unmarshalled.
Large over ear headphones are banned; bone conducting earphones or single ear in ear pieces are acceptable if needed. Bibs are issued on the day of registration. Transfers and deferrals can be self-served up to one week before the event.
Finishers receive a bespoke medal and are provided with cake and other items. Organisers encourage a social atmosphere so participants may remain on site to chat with other runners and event staff after finishing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
