AZ Sunrise Series - Scottsdale Sports Complex (Event details)
The event is the second leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series and takes place on May 30, 2026 at Scottsdale Sports Complex, 8081 E Princess Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85255. The in-person field for the Scottsdale Sports Complex event is limited to 700 participants. Distances offered:
- 5K
- Virtual Run
In-person 5K registration fees vary by date and range from about $38.81 to $49.51. Virtual Run registration fees range from about $28.11 to $38.81. Mail-in registration is accepted until May 25, 2026; mail-in entries avoid online processing fees. Virtual registrations are restricted to US addresses and event items for virtual entrants will ship after the event.
Race services, rules and series information
Packet pick-up is available at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix and at the race location. The event provides a custom series medal, race-specific medal add-on, choice of event swag, extra water stations on course, and chip timing with real-time results and race photos. Male and female age group awards are given to the top three in each age group (age groups range from 8 & Under through 80 & Over). Participants may use wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons; roller blades, skateboards and motorized devices are not allowed. Walkers and leashed pets are permitted. The series awards points for each completed event; top point earners and participants completing at least four of seven series events enter a prize drawing.
