Course and event details
The races are night trail runs on singletrack through the Sonoran desert using the Escondido, Scenic, Cinch, and Shallmo trails. Courses are staged out of McDowell Mountain Regional Park as part of the Insomniac Night Trail Run Series; this event is the second race in the six-race series. A series pass that includes all six races is available at a discounted rate.
Registration closes Monday, May 18 (final deadline listed in event material). Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. There is an option to "double down" by pairing the run with the Adrenaline Ride on the preceding night. Volunteer roles include event setup, aid station captains and helpers, timing, and event breakdown; volunteer perks include event merchandise or race credits.
