AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Riparian Preserve

This event takes place on August 8, 2026 at Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert, Arizona. It serves as the final leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series and the in-person 5K is limited to 700 participants.

Course surfaces include a mix of gravel paths and concrete paths around the park. The event uses chip timing with real time results and event photos. There are extra water stations along the course and male and female age group awards for the top three in each age group. A pre- and post-race runner brunch is provided with items such as granola bars, fruit, water, and sports drink.

Packet pick-up is available the day before at a local Road Runner Sports in Tempe and on-site at Riparian Preserve on race day. Participants may choose between an open start window and a traditional mass start; no starts are allowed after the mass start. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome. Roller blades, skates, skateboards, and motorized devices are not permitted. Walkers and leashed pets are allowed. The event runs rain or shine and there are no refunds or transfers due to weather.
