Arizona Sunrise Series Phoenix - Riparian Preserve
This event is the final leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series, held at Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert, Arizona on August 8, 2026. It is organized as part of a seven-event series that awards points for each completed race, with extra points based on age group and overall finish. The top 100 point earners and participants who complete at least four of the seven series events are entered in a series prize drawing; three participants will receive a $500 gift card.
Participants receive a custom series medal with additions for each series event completed and a choice of custom event apparel: Dri-Fit Tech T-shirt, racerback tank top, or sleeveless shirt. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each listed age division, excluding virtual runners. Races are chip timed with real time results and photos provided by StartLine Racing. Course marking and timing are managed by StartLine Racing.
The course follows dedicated running trails with mixed surfaces of crushed gravel, asphalt, and concrete. Trails remain open to the public during the event. The event is wheelchair, stroller, and leashed pet friendly; those participants are required to start at the back of the start line corral and chip timing ensures net times are recorded from the start line. There is no bag check due to the common start and finish area. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports Tempe and on race day at the venue.
