Summer Series #5 at Cesar Chavez Park
This event is the final race of the ARR Summer Series and is a 5 kilometer road race held at Cesar Chavez Park in Laveen Village, Phoenix. It serves as the last opportunity in the series to earn Summer Series Grand Prix points. The race location was changed since the 2022 edition and a new course map is available.
There will be no race day paper registration. Online registration on RunSignUp closes August 2, 2026 at 5:59 am MST. Mail-in registration and other registration categories are offered for different age groups and membership statuses. Entry fees vary by registration date and category.
Shirts are included for participants who register for all five series races; a tank top is provided in men’s or women’s sizes and youth T shirts are available. For single race entries, shirts are offered for an additional fee and participants may opt out of the shirt for a reduction in the entry fee.
Each individual Summer Series race awards medals in age groups and recognizes the top three male and female finishers. Age group medals are awarded in these groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over. Series Grand Prix plaques are awarded to top finishers across the full series and series awards are presented at a social event after the series concludes.
