Awendaw Community Health & Wellness 5K Fun Run & Walk
The Town of Awendaw, in partnership with St. James Health & Wellness, is hosting a community 5K event on September 12, 2026 at 6971 Doar Road, Awendaw, SC 29429. The program includes separate run and walk categories for adults and children; each listed event covers 2.9 Miles. Registration applies only to participation in the 5K.
Registration opens August 17, 2026 and closes September 5, 2026. Fees for the 5K are $30 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. The broader community event is free and open to the public and does not require a registration fee.
A community health and wellness gathering will accompany the 5K. St. James Health & Wellness will provide free blood pressure and diabetes screenings and other health assessments. Additional on-site activities include food trucks, bounce houses, music, free fruits and vegetables, giveaways, and family-friendly activities.
