Avon CSD 5K for Veterans
Avon Central School will host a community running event on October 24, 2026, on the school campus at 161 Clinton Street, Avon, NY 14414. The event includes both a main 5K and a kids 800 m fun run, and proceeds will go to Livingston County Veterans. The finish line is located on the 50 yard line of the football field. Timing and bibs are provided by Rochester Running Company (Robin Hood Racing Race Timing).

Registration opens August 19, 2026 and closes October 24, 2026. Fee structure for the 5K is listed as: under 18 $10.00, individual $25.00, family (3+ people) $50.00; veterans are free. Packet pickup is race day only at the middle school between 8:30am and 9:45am. Race shirts are available for purchase and orders are due by October 1.
Parking is available only at the middle school; participants and spectators are asked not to park at the high school. Restrooms will be available inside the school building, which will be open on event day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
