Autumn Breaker 10k

The Autumn Breaker 10k is a two-lap, accurately measured 10 km road race using the paths around Stanley Park in Blackpool. The course is described as fast and flat, with a compact layout that offers frequent opportunities for spectators to see runners.

Event HQ is on the eastern side of Stanley Park adjacent to the BMX track (East Park Drive, Blackpool FY3 9RB). Facilities at Event HQ include registration and race number collection, an event enquiries desk, baggage storage, toilets, medical support and bottled water at the finish. Baggage is left at the owner’s risk and personal belongings should be clearly labelled. A key drop is available; keys are returned after the race on presentation of the race number.

The race is chip timed and the timing chip is attached to the race number, so the bib should be worn visibly for an accurate result. A staffed water station is provided around halfway on the course and additional water is available at the finish. Professional medical support is in place for the duration of the event. Headphones are permitted but must be used safely and at a volume that allows runners to hear instructions.

Parking options are available near Event HQ, including the Blackpool Model Village car park (East Park Drive FY3 9RB), Blackpool Sports Centre (FY3 9HQ) and a free public car park at the West Park Drive entrance (FY3 9HU), with limited on-street parking nearby. Results and official race photos are published online after the event.

Individual awards are presented to the first three men and first three women, with male veteran categories over 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70+ and female veteran categories over 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60 and 65.
