About the race
The Autumn Adventure 5k & 10k is scheduled for November 8 at Druid Hill Park in Baltimore, Maryland. The event includes two race distances:
- 5k
- 10k
The race is part of several scoring programs: points count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series, and they also count toward the Fall Series. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.
Runners receive a finisher medal, a technical (DriFit) event shirt, and the event uses chip timing. The 5k follows an out-and-back route and the 10k completes the same course twice. Water stations are placed along the courses, with approximately three stations on the 10k and one on the 5k.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall, and first and second place in age groups 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Runners who place in the overall top three are not eligible for age group awards.
Registration fees vary by distance and by date; t-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before October 28. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered. Live results are posted online after the race and photos taken by staff are posted in the days following the event. The organizer operates the event in most weather conditions but may delay or cancel if necessary. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
